Following the debate and wondering how anyone manages to organise their own computer so that it receives the RSS, blog entries and other changes they may wish to check.
What is a tag ? How does one create one in a blog ? Where to go to find these things out ? Is it always google or are there other avenues ?

I find Google Reader the best way to keep track of RSS feeds (including comments from blogs). Its very useful for finding inspiration for writing and with a bit of tweaking you can publish links to interesting articles on your blog.
When you create a post in your blog it should give you the option to create some tags before you publish. Google’s always a good source of info but I also find Wikipedia good for ‘techie’ questions.

Google works for me. I would suggest starting with somehting that does the job you need. if you then become an uber aggregator look for better tools.
Beth Kanter has just written about this. Look here:
